First, I want to thank all you music fans on House-Mixes.com who have stopped by to listen to and leave
such nice comments on my mixes, including my Disco Nights series and Club Nights - Welcome To The 80's.
It has made this DJ who will turn 55 September 30th feel like he's in his 20's again. The 1980's were a fun time
for me. I was working in clubs anywhere from 4 to 5 days a week... was still in my 20's and making some good
cash and I didn't have to color my hair to keep it black. The later 80's musically was really kicking butt with
Freestyle and House Music. This is a special mix for me. A friend on Facebook who use to come to the club
I worked at gave me three old cassettes I had made for him between 1986 and 1989. What I did was take
the best mixes from them and re-create the mixes I did all those years ago using MP3 files for deep digital
sound. These were our Anthems back in the 80's and I know you'll like them. Since making this mix in August
and playing it so much it has taken me right back to a fun time of my life. Let me share it with you. Thank you!
